I'm boring. Sue me.

I feel as though I ought to update with some art or some photography, just something pretty and visual. But I haven't got anything, so instead I'll just do some quick whining about Lip Service's Spring/Summer lines, which have really disappointed me this year. Open the site in a new window and follow along, please.

A.W.O.L. - Like the dress, but otherwise, what's the point? Weren't they originally calling this Fashionista Resista or something like that?

Disorderly Conduct - Eh. They should've just brought back the vinyl line they did a few years ago by the same name.

Fashist Fishnet - It's one of their staples, and I've found their fisnet to be surprisingly resiliant. Good for them!

Feel the Burn 2 - The first FtB didn't sell; why on earth would you re-make a flawed concept? People don't go to Lip Service to buy athletic clothing! Lippy's reputation for rather weak construction plays largely into that.

Flowers of Evil - I admit, I love this. I always love their fancy brocade lines. I am traumatized that the gown from this line has apparently left the building. Red and black is a killer combination.

Gangsta Pranksta / Hellbent for Leather / Lick my Lycra - all standards. I'm glad the GP gown is finally making it to the website; pinstriped gowns are fabulous and I just may require them at my wedding. LickyLycra's Grommot Top and short sleever interest me.

LS Daggers - Stab stab stab die. It's an ugly print, and it's a shame they've chosen it as their signature.

Punk & Disorderly - The only thing that changes is the plaids - the clothes stay pretty much the same year after year. That said, I'm digging the green-and-purple plaid and the watermelon (pink-n-green) plaid.
I always love the cami's from this collection, too.

Skate Punx - Attempts to expand the previous line into the world of skaters. They shouldn't have tried, but since they have, the new shirt dress looks interesting and the rest is very Eh.

The other lines are from winter and/or appear in some form every year, so I'm done. Nyah. They should do Lunar Dolls again.
