In the winter I daydream about hi-top Converse in every color of the rainbow. In the summer, it's flipflops.

I've spent the last two days with Sailor, practically non-stop, because I've been carless and fully dependent on him for all my transportation needs. On Wednesday he picked me up from my house and we shopped all day. He tried some shirts on at Kenneth Cole and liked them, but deemed them too expensive. (It's OK, they didn't drape too well.) Banana Republic didn't even have pants his size - I don't know where we'll find pants that fit him. He's as thin as me! We bought lots of junk food; See's Candy at the mall (he promised me chocolate!) and snack food at Mitsuwa. Pocky and Hi-Chew were everywhere. We had a mini-fight about bags, because he carries too much stuff for his pockets, and always has to wear a jacket to carry his junk. So we tried to find him a suitable bag to keep his things in, and he kept trying to get huge messanger bags when he basically needed a man-purse, something small and portable. He kept trying to get something to carry his school things in, which completely defeated my goal! I'm still not sure he understands why he needs to get a small bag. *sigh* It's too hard to explain things to him sometimes.
But I had fun. Lots of fun. When we got home we played Monopoly with Kero.

Thursday we went to the beach. Well, first we went to his house and tried to clean his room, but he made me stop when I'd barely begun. (I was two hours into a six hour job.) His room still isn't clean, and judging from the deterioration of his car in a day (we cleaned that in the morning as well) my hard work will be undone in less than a week. *sigh*
The beach was great, as always. We ended up buying more candy (always with candy! My teeth will rot right out!) and getting sand everywhere and in everything. We tried to play frisbee but the plastic was warped and it wouldn't glide through the air. Hee. But we did build a turtle on the beach!
Sailor was restless when we got home and couldn't sit through the whole of Interview with a Vampire, which was playing on FX. So we went upstairs and spent hours talking about our couple memories. It was cute. Very cute. But I was up too long and now I'm sleepy.

This morning I had work and since I was still car-less, Sailor had to wait until I finished working (four hours he had to kill!) so he could drive me home. He's very nice to me. Yaaay.
