I was in the bathroom, looking at myself in the mirror, and I just teared up and stood there for a minute with tears going down my face. It was weird. I wonder if it's a reaction to my contact lenses. But I took those out four hours ago, so why I'd be reacting now is just weird...

Yes, that's right. I FINALLY GOT CONTACT LENSES. Woo-hoo! And I must say that I like myself a lot better without glasses. Woo-hoo. Although the circles under my eyes become far more prominent, so I have to wear makeup for sure now. *sigh* Oh well. In shorts and skimpy tops I am a cutie-pie that the masses long to devour! (Or not. Shhh. My ego is talking.)

Today Seanie took me out to Japantown to finish buying Sailor's birthday present. (He's turning 21! He can buy me alcohol now. :D) I bought the bulk of the present last night at Valley Fair, but I needed some bits for entertainment. If his birthday present was a dish, I already bought the slab of meat, but I needed an appetizer, some garnishes, and a dessert. Now I got those, so it should be great. It didn't all fit in the box tho'. :( Oh well. I'll figure something out.

I have contact lenses! I take forever to get 'em in and out...but I can do it! Hooray!
