It's the last midnight; it's the last wish

Tomorrow's Halloween and I'm not getting any candy out of it. Somehow, I feel cheated. Never mind that I'm 17 years old and frankly, you oughtn't be trick-or-treating when you're old enough to drive to the store and buy your own candy. Americans are greedy and materialistic, you know? So of course we all want to go and get our free chocolate from as many people as humanly possible.
Kat wanted to go mooch for candy, but I don't have a costume anyway so it doesn't really make a difference. I wanted to dress as a Shinto Priestess this year because if I got my hair straightened (ick) and got contacts (ickier) I could probably pass for Kikyo (Inuyasha). Unfortunately, though, you can't just go out and buy a Shinto Priestess costume - you have to sew it. By hand. Eeeew. The most sewing I can do is stitching cranes together, and even that turns out a little iffy.

So I'll stay home and keep children away from my candy. Grrrrr. Make sure they don't come near my house and take my precious reserve of Reese's Peanut Butter Cups away. Raarrrrrr.
