Come on! You're a fashion designer!

I really need to just suck it up and be pretty. Lately I've always felt so lazy when getting ready for school - I'll dilly and delay until I've only got ten minutes before I leave, and then I have time to do no more than hastily slap on my jeans and run out the door. I have heaps of accessories that I don't utilize because I'm too lazy to think my appearance through before I hurry out the door.

I don't think I've bothered with a full-blown face, with contacts in and color painted, since Halloween. That's a really long time. I probably put on foundation and concealer once or twice a week - and only then if my face flares up enough that red patches are conspicuous. I do lips a little more often, because it certainly isn't hard to slap on a bit of gloss, and blush with the gloss because it's just slap! slap! with the makeup brush. I've done my eyes exactly once since spring semester started, and it was a half-hearted effort at best - green eyeliner. That's it! Not even mascara.

I know that I haven't felt fussy with clothes lately because I am dissatisfied with my belly, and don't want to wear anything tight. Besides, it's cold, and for some odd reason I've never been good with purchasing appropriate layers. But the weather's warming up and my glasses are falling apart (I need a new pair sooooooo bad! Part of the lens in my current ones is chipping off, so everything's blurry - not to mention the prescription is at least five years old and no longer accurate!) so I need to start trying again. Accessories and all.

Doll up kid!
