Zoolander: Best Movie Ever or Bestest Movie Ever?

So after a weekend of playing God of War III it seems that my Mythology and Folklore group decided it would be a tough subject for a fifteen minute presentation, since some of us (me) suck at video games at would never finish the whole thing, while others don't have a PS3 to play the game on. So we were stumped for all of five minutes, until someone suggested using the movie Zoolander instead. (Only my most favorite movie EVER!!!) We're going to use Joseph Campbell's 'Hero's Journey' outline on Derek Zoolander, and pad the presentation with plenty of video clips.

Like this:

Because seriously, folks. Zoolander is the best freakin' movie ever. How can you fail to adore a movie with lines like this:
Derek Zoolander: Rufus, Brint, and Meekus were like brothers to me. And when I say brother, I don't mean, like, an actual brother, but I mean it like the way black people use it. Which is more meaningful I think. If there is anything that this horrible tragedy can teach us, it's that a male model's life is a precious, precious commodity. Just because we have chiseled abs and stunning features, it doesn't mean that we too can't not die in a freak gasoline fight accident.

(Needless to say, my Mom thinks Zoolander is awful and not the least bit funny.)

So we watched the movie this afternoon and started discussing how Deep and Meaningful Zoolander's hero journey is...or else we sat around eating brownies and popcorn while gossiping how great it is to be of legal age in Los Vegas. I'm the only person over 21 in my group. I AM OLD.

Well, if nothing else this is gonna be one fun project...
