piranha - feather nest.

I can almost touch the end of it all.

The semester's coming to a close so quickly that I almost can't believe it.

Today was the last day of Archaeology Lab Methods and California Architecture. The lab class won't even have a final, just a paper that we e-mail in, so this really was it! The Architecture final is my last one, on December 18th. It seems so strange that it's nearly two weeks out.

This morning was a crazy hustle to finish that Architecture paper. I wrote about the Ahwahnee Hotel and Bernard Maybeck's influence on the National Park Service buildings in Yosemite National Park. Considering that up until one week ago I thought I would be writing about a completely different topic I think that it turned out pretty well. At this point, I don't care what grade I get, as long as I pass the class.

There's still so much to be done. I've still got some papers to write, and next Tuesday I've got to give a presentation for Dr. J's class. That's all on top of studying for final exams. But we're getting close, thank goodness!
