Merida hair!
Today I got a haircut. I know that for most people, this isn't a particularly noteworthy event, but I only get my hair cut by a professional once every few years. (The last time that I can remember was back in June 2011, a day or two before I flew off to Italy.) The main reason I do it is to get split ends cut off, but I usually get some layers thrown in while I'm there, just to make things look a little prettier.
Today, I guess the stylist was in a playful mood, because she showed me how to add tons of volume and make my hair extra curly and poofy.
BEFORE & AFTER

It's not that different, but adding the extra bounciness actually made the hair feel lighter. Weird, right? I don't know if I'll fix my hair like this regularly, since I don't think I can get quite as much volume without a diffuser. But it's a fun little change.
