Speaking of the mundane
It's amazing how quickly school comes to dominate your life every time a new semester starts. The first day or two you find yourself thinking, "Ah, this won't be so bad. I've only got a couple of new books to buy and all." But then work begins to arrive and unless you keep on top of it you're buried.

Luckily I've been on top of it so far. Tomorrow I am devoting myself to all of my biology homework. If I don't have to work, it should leave my morning and early-afternoon open for fun and games; if I do work then I will be booked through the evening. But if I get both my biology labs and study questions out of the way, that leaves Sunday free for a thorough room-cleaning, and should put me far enough ahead of my other courses that The Cruicible Tuesday night and The Wizard of Oz Thursday night should not put me too far behind.

ruien wrote an interesting entry the other day on the nature of blogging. Her note was that people only write obsessively (multiple entries in a day) when they are unhappy. It's never when they're happy.
Naturally. Nobody gets happy off of sitting in front of a computer screen all day. Nor does anyone type about the mundane; I mean, who really cares to write multiple entries on the wonders of biodiversity study questions? It's only when you've got drama or stress or are otherwise unbalanced that you feel the need to type and type, sorting your feelings out in text so that it can be properly compartmentalized.

On a side note, I am getting positively wealthy off the change whimsicalbeau leaves on the floor of my room. It falls out of his pockets when we're lounging about - I'm getting a dollar or two every week.
I suppose I ought to give it back to him...

now what did you go confessing about the change for?

The guilt was weighing heavy on me and I'm terrified that if it continues to linger around it will convert to cellulite and my shapely legs will be no more.
