GORGEOUS cloud photos. They totally look photoshopped, because the clouds are so puffy and full! But apparently they're real, just a very special cloud formation that isn't seen too often. They're called Mammatus clouds and are formed whe teh air is saturated with rain droplets/ice crystals and begins to sink. Usually appear after a nasty storm.

yes, I have seen this once in my life.. though the sky was pink as well. it was after a tornadic storm.

Oh wow. That is absolutely stunning!

I love looking at strange cloud formations, and after taking a few atmo sci classes a couple of years back, my interest has only intensified. If you see anything else this awesome, you ought to post it right away!
