Off-hand I'd bet that I'd be at least 10% more satisfied with my job if we didn't have call-in shifts. There's nothing worse than having to put your day on hold until an hour before your shift because you don't know whether you'll be working or not. If you're working, you have to cancel plans! If you aren't, it's a day wasted.

At least the fact that I'm finally top-tier of non-management associates means I very rarely get call-in shifts anymore. The one I have this week is the first one this year.

We schedule a few on-calls, but it's kind of rare. And yeah, being management means never having on-call shifts, thank GOD. Express never did them, thankfully. I would hate it.

when i was with american eagle i had a call in shift every day, it sucked! i finally just quit. lol i hate my job right now... if you couldn't tell by my last entry. loved the quiz! ps how are you doing? sorry i don't write anymore... i'm a bad pen pal
