I wasn't just bad in a minor way, I was awful at golf. I'd hit the ball too softly and it wouldn't roll all the way up. I'd hit the ball too hard and it would bounce back and forth between the outlines. I did get a single Hole-in-One, which was nice, but I think everyone gets at least one when you play mini-golf. I think I can improve though; I'm certainly willing to try.
After all, I got a score of 70 for 18 holes. (Bad, I know.) I can only go up! Kenny ended up having the lowest score, followed by Kero, followed by Kitty.
There were so many little kids running around and splashing in the water, blissfully ignoring all the "Stay out of the water! Stay out of the shrubs/rocks/decoration/etc!" I don't remember ever being that disrespectful in my youth, but I guess it was possible. I also don't remember being able to blatently ignore all the grown-ups trying to play a round of golf and constantly interrupting their game by running through the astroturf, leaving wet footprints upon the red-and-blue surface.
As Kitty noted, I also swear there weren't as many Mexicans sitting around watching people play before, either. It was a bit weird.
