Thinking with my typing fingers.
Danyelle and I have now got a final date on our MIT interviews - March 19th. That Monday is when Jen Bennett will be at Valley Fair to do a "store inspection" and while she's at it, she'll be interviewing the two of us. It's really hard for me to guess who the company might prefer, because Danyelle and I have such complementary skill sets. I have management experience in a high-traffic corporate sales setting - body care no less! - but Danyelle's experience is from the more intimate small, family-owned business. So my experience will get Lush where they want to go, but Danyelle's fits more into the image Lush wants to project. I just don't know which way the company is more likely to go, if everything else between us is even.

I honestly ought to talk to Danyelle about things, and see what she thinks. What I would like to do is propose to Jen Bennett that Valley Fair have two part-time MITs, because Danyelle and I balance each other so well that I think with our strengths combined we will be able to propel the store further. Also, both of us are students so if one of us has a huge project, having two MITs will allow us to work part time BUT still fulfill the MIT 45-hour-work-week minimum requirement.

But for all I know, Danyelle wants a full-time job. I really need to talk to her about it, because there's no point in me bringing this idea up in my interview if Danyelle doesn't want to do it, right?

What a pickle..
Hm. It would be nice if you could have two part-time MITs, but if Danyelle wants full time, that might not happen. Does she have school, or is she JUST looking to work? I know you love lush, and you'd like to be able to work more (money money?) but it will make your schedule even tighter than it is - then again, you excepted MIT in training, so i'm sure you'll accept if offered.

Sounds neat though. Keep me (and i guess the internet) posted.

Re: What a pickle..
She's a student as well, and she's always studying so I assume schools keeping her pretty busy.
