I'll wait a few days before posting spoilers, BUT...

It was about what I expected.

Like I said in my BookCrossing entry:

When you read a book that you've been waiting for a long time, the conclusion of a series, you're bound to have made a few hypotheses about how it's going to turn out. If your guesses are all completely wrong, you feel stupid and wonder what you missed. If you have a good mix of right and wrong guesses, you feel wonderful, because goodness weren't you clever, and wasn't that a delightful twist or two as well?

Unfortunately, when nearly all of your guesses play out exactly on the pages of that coveted book, you can't help but feel let down.

That is an excellent point. Though I never really speculated about the last book. XD

What can I say? I'm a born speculator :-p

Given my general distaste for the series and its fans, it's not something I'd want to speculate about unless I'm teasing my bf.

Teasing is at least half the fun!

XD I'm evil, though. I picked up book six, read the death scene that he hadn't gotten to yet, and teased him for the next day or so that I knew who died. (At the time, I hadn't read beyond the first book due to my finding it rather condescending in tone.) This time? With something like 13 deaths? Yeah. Much teasing.
