Don't seem to really be losing the weight though. I keep squeezing 'the rolls' and they're still there.
Oi. It's times like this I miss high school, because walking to school every morning was apparently enough to keep me quite trim. I mean, I haven't gained enough weight since high school ended that it's really noticeable (I hope; only between six and ten lbs, depending on the time of month, but I don't weigh that much to begin with so it's a big difference) but it's still irritating. I just want to be a nice round number again. Why's that so difficult?
I have several books that I've read and need to write reviews for, but I'm feeling lazy so I haven't been tackling them very promptly. (I think that's a bad sign; if I was excited about them wouldn't I have eagerly written them up?) In no particular order:
- When We Were Romans by Matthew Kneale: It's a wannabe 'curious incident of the dog in the night-time'
- Tan Lines by J. J. Salem: THis book is awful. Really. Worst book of 2008. And I read Twilight this year.
- Creepers by an author I don't remember. Endorsed by RL Stine! Not funny like Goosebumps though.
- couple of random graphic novels
Blueberries are delicious. I love the squealch sound they make in my mouth.
Seanie's gonna kill me if we don't see The Dark Knight soon. Yes, I still haven't gone, and the Joker's my favorite villain. I don't know what's wrong with me, except an empty pocketbook.
