Apparently, there is another Susanna Hough in Canada.  I am very sad that someone else has my name, but at least she's in another country.

There's also a Suzi Hough in the UK somewhere.  Again, not thrilled that someone else is using my name, possibly inappropriately, but I haven't figured out how to stop her yet.  I wonder if she is another abbreviated Susanna.

Both Houghs seem to be sports fans.
How'd I miss that boat?

Oh well.  At least I am the one and only American Susanna Hough, still living. (Apparently the name pops up semi-frequently in geneologies.)  Perhaps there can only be one Susanna Hough in a single country at any given time.  When I die, another one will pop up in, like, Georgia or something.

haha how did you find out there are other suzi's?

i freaked out the first time i googled my name and a poem about 9/11 and the twin towers popped up on some contest site under my name. first, because there is just no way in hell anybody else could have my name (mitchEm is much rarer than mitchUm, and maiko is not that common of a japanese name), and second, because the poem was written in a style that could have been my own. o.O;; still freaks me out thinking about it! too bad there wasn't any contact info...

Google Alerts e-mails me whenever a new Susanna or Suzi Hough appears on the 'Net. Usually it's just one of my book reviews being quoted or a photo of me on Facebook, but for some awful reason these two people showed up yesterday, ending my domination of my name on the 'Net. Tragic!

Heres a story for you.

So set up I am from Colorado and Living in Arizona.

I was working in another town here in AZ about 30 mins from my house when we hired a new girl. The first day in there she said "Wow tell your dad that I said hi!!" and I kinda looked at her and said "how do you know my dad?" she said "well your name is Colleen Wyckoff and you live in Chandler, isn't your dad a Martial Arts teacher? I took classes with him!"

I told her that my dad was a bus driver in colorado....but apperently there is anohter colleen wyckoff running aorund in the same CITY I live in now, aroundthe same age <.
