Today Seanie's car was broken, so he was running around like a headless chicken trying to get it functional. His father came over to my house to look at it, and Seanie had my car for half of the afternoon so that he could go out and get car part replacements. I didn't particularly mind; I spent most of the afternoon curled up with a book or watching Avatar: The Last Airbender. Eventually Seanie came back with a little piece of plastic tubing; it turns out that tiny little piece was all he needed to fix his car.
We missed church group because of his car's shenanigans, but that's OK. We still don't have a 'lesson plan' yet so it would have been a week of goofing off.
He was a little frantic, though. We also had to get his resume up to snuff so he could apply for a production assistant job at Kero's job. Fingers crossed. We hope he gets hired! It's cute. When he writes, he's very verbose. So my main job as resume-reviewer and cover-letter-editor is taking a virtual pair of scissors and chopping half of every sentence off.
