Mucha-inspired photoshoot for Plaza Watch
Alphonse Mucha is one of my favorite artists. His lines are so delicate and give his work an almost stained-glass quality. It's stunning. Today, Mucha's style is widely imitated by artists around the world, from Sailor Moon to Google.

One of Plaza Watch's newest ad campaigns is also greatly inspired by Mucha:

Alphonse Mucha
To my great shame I've never heard of him before but must have seen his work a thousand times without knowing who the artist was! I've learned something new today...and the ad's are great.

Re: Alphonse Mucha
I think Mucha's work went into obscurity for many years after his death, and only recent decades has started to gain popularity again, since a lot of his art was for ads and prints instead of gallery paintings. He's fantastic :D
