...*almost* in to that class at SJSU!
Y'know that class I've been crashing at SJSU for the last week?
Great news! The teacher gave me an add code today.
That's the good news. The bad news is that the add code didn't work, and I couldn't add the class online, so I have to try and sort it out on campus on Tuesday. There's no reason that I can think of for why I can't take the class - I've taken all the prerequisite tests and the WST exam. So I'm thinking there must be some crossed wires somewhere, and the computer isn't getting the message that I qualify.

It's hard to say what the class is about. We talked about figurative language a little bit today, but so far most of the class has been spent introducing ourselves to each other. There's some cool kids in the class, that's for sure!

We're writing descriptive essays about this sculpture, which is located right next to the Art Building:

It isn't labeled anywhere, but according to the artist's website it's called Career Opportunities. It's a pretty cool piece.

I want to climb it and get a picture riding it like a buckin' bronco.

I think that's a good instinct.

Don't let the admissions office give you the runaround; they're notorious for being lazy and incompetent. Always ask questions, always follow-up.

Yeah, by all accounts those guys are a complete nightmare to deal with.
