Extremely Lazy Black Friday

This is the first Black Friday I've had, as an adult, that I did not have to spend working. I was excited. I didn't want to go anywhere near a mall, no matter how good the deals were. I was going to spend Black Friday being the laziest slug possible.

I slept in late. It was great.
Sean got a message from one of his friends about a job opening, so he began to frantically prepare his resume and cover letter as I continued to laze about, reading and being sluggish. Glorious.

In the afternoon, we decided to go geocaching. It turns out that there were supposedly two caches less than a block from my house. Even though the only GPS device we had was an ancient one Seanie dug up somewhere and an iPhone app, we were confident we could find them.

But alas, we were overconfident. In spite of the fact that these caches were practically next door to my house and are rated as easy to find, we couldn't find the darn things. We must have looked for well over an hour; retreating to the house only when it got too cold to continue poking around. It was fun, but frustrating. Kinda discouraging, too...if we couldn't even find an easy Geocache, what luck will we have at finding a more challenging one?
