New Year's Resolutions 2011: March

2011 New Year’s Resolutions Progress Update

Why am I talking about New Year's Resolutions in February?  It's all explained here.

1.       Set up a regular fitness routine.

Bought a Groupon for Almaden Yoga Studio, along with several friends.  Looks like I'll definitely be doing yoga now.  I haven't actually redeemed the Groupon yet, but...soon?  I hope to go to the first class next Monday.

2.       Visit another country.

Sent in my application for SJSU's Florence program; I'll be hearing back from the school around March 8th regardingg whether i was accepted.

3.       Get a 4.0.

*shrug* I think I'm doing OK with this one. Maybe trending towards B's in some classes.

4.       Set up a school/career map.

I ended up not applying for the Asian Art Museum's docent program - I just didn't want to get stuck with a two year commitment.  I did start looking into graduate programs, and found a pretty promising one at UCLA.  When I told my mom about it, she freaked out.  She objected because it was 'unfair to Sean' and 'you don't know if they'll still have the program when you're ready to transfer.'  So, what, she thinks I shouldn't even be looking?  Crazy.  So I'm just going to ignore her opinions on the subject and do as I please; it seems easier that way.

5.       Complete an epic art piece.

Done nothing with this one.

6.       Move out.

Really haven't done anything with this resolution, either.

Man, in terms of reaching toward my goals, this month kinda sucked balls.
