I'm going to Italy!

I just got the e-mail I've been waiting for. I've been accepted into the Florence seminar and I'll be heading to Italy this summer! Super-exciting!

I didn't get a very large scholarship, I'm afraid. Only $350. I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm grateful to get anything, but that amount doesn't even cover a third of tuition. Oh well. At least it's something!

So Florence. Italy. Wow. I don't know if I'll be able to see much outside of Florence. We only have two free days during the class itself; makes it hard to get out to Rome or Turin or Siena or Venice. But hard is not impossible, and I'm definitely game to try...if a classmate or two will go with me. I'm a wuss and hate doing things alone.

Also trying to figure out if Seanie can come out when the class ends so we can do some of Europe together. I don't know if we'd stay in Italy or head over to England/Scotland/'s hard to decide!

But yay! Europe is a GO!
