Fun night out with friends.

This evening, after work, Kero drove the two of us up to Sunnyvale to the Yahoo! campus to meet Kitty as she got off work. From there, she took over the driving and we went up to Bandaid's house. We picked her up and proceeded to downtown Burlingame (I think?) and ended up having Italian food at a nice restaurant. Bandaid generously paid for dinner, and Kitty treated everyone to frozen yogurt afterwards.

I wish I remembered the name of the Italian restaurant; it was pretty good. I had gnocchi with spinach in white sauce - it was incredibly filling - and everyone else's dishes looked really tasty. I was a little worried about the cost...I can't afford to eat out more than once a week, and even that's pushing it. So it was really nice that Bandaid treated us, although now I feel bad because it was a rather large bill. Maybe I just shouldn't think about it much.

I had told everyone that I needed to leave by nine, so I could get enough sleep before work tomorrow, but of course we ran late. We always run late. When it was 8:45 and we were just talking about getting yogurt, I knew there was no way I'd be home before ten, as I'd hoped...ah, well. I was practically falling asleep into my food. I guess, going forward, I just need to start telling people an even earlier time, or drive separately.
