What the heck?
I mean, I live in California, not Washington, and it's June. What's with this weather?
Luckily, early in the evening the rain let up, so Seanie's family was able to have a BBQ. Everyone would be there, including Rhi and her twins, so I had to make an appearance too. I mean, don't get me wrong, it's always nice to see the family and Seanie's mom is a great cook, but their house is at least an extra forty minutes in the car, and after a long day at work it's not an endeavor I look forward to. I also didn't know that this was meant to be a birthday party for the three Buckley sons; Seanie had managed to leave this out of his descriptions of the family BBQ, so I didn't understand why it was so urgent that we had to go. Anyway. So I went.
The twins are getting really big now. I can't hold Arlo or Liam for more than a few minutes before my arms get tired. I guess that means I've got to start working out or something. The little guys are starting to develop personalities and it's really cute to see how they're interacting with the world. At the same time, everyone wants to play with them and it's pretty clear that all the new faces overwhelm the kids, who are all of four months old now. I feel sorry for the poor little fellas.
