Tourist snacks from Osaka, Japan!!

Seanie's work sent him to Japan last week, but he came back on Tuesday.  He came bearing gifts, including a yukata for me and some snacks for my family.  I can't take a picture of the yukata yet (namely because I can't figure out how to put it on, how embarrassing is that??) but here's some cakes that he brought back.
Osaka Castle Cake.
According to Seanie, the sponge cake inside should be shaped just like Osaka Castle.
As a reminder, this is what Osaka Castle looks like:

Osaka Castle

This is what the cake actually looks like.

If I use my imagination, I can see the resemblance.

Oh well, at least the cakes are tasty.  There's some sort of custardy filling in the middle.
