As I battle my way through a mountain of homework (today is an endless stack of vocabulary lists for ARTH 175) and quietly cursing myself for letting everything slide to the end of the semester, like always, I keep repeating the words of Confucius like a mantra:

Things that are done, it is needless to speak about...
Things that are past, it is needless to blame.

How I got to this point doesn't matter at the moment; I just need to carry on as best I can.
