The disappointment of the artist when a piece gets destroyed.

I was looking in a kitchen drawer for a glass stir stick that I made earlier this year, and I just remembered why I can't find it. My dear husband managed to break it somehow a few days ago. Grrrr. I still have the first stir stick I made, but I liked the shape of the top of the second one better so its loss was disappointing.

But I should just be happy that something I made was being useful and actually getting use, unlike the glass paperweight that has never touched a piece of paper in its life.
