Seanie and I recently finished the second season of My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic, which is all the episodes currently available on Netflix.
I can't believe he watches such a girly little show with me - and enjoys it.
He absolutely, positively refuses to use or be called a "brony" - and I don't blame him, I wouldn't want to be know by such a stupid nickname either. But that doesn't mean he isn't a fan of the show. We both are. It's so much better than the Ponies cartoons I watched as a kid - real plot, characters with personality, and entertaining animation.
Jeannie enjoys the show too.
It's interesting to try to match up our personalities with the ponies - it never quite works. Jeannie figures I'm a combination of Twilight Sparkle (bookish nerd) and Pinkie Pie (insanity). I think she's more like Rainbow Dash (athletic, competitive) and Pinkie Pie. Seanie, though he hates this game, is probably an amalgam of Rainbow Dash and Applejack (good ol' boy girl boy). What a nerdy thing to think about.
We finished My Little Ponies!
