Iron Man 2

I watched Iron Man 2 today, and as I try to process what I thought of it my mind keeps returning to one thing...

What was with this movie and birds?

It's been a while since I saw Iron Man; I didn't even realize that Don Cheadle was a different actor playing the role of Rhody, replacing Terrence Howard.  AND IT'S NOT BECAUSE ALL AFRICAN-AMERICAN MEN LOOK THE SAME...I just didn't remember the actor.  Yawn.

I felt like there was a lot going on in the movie, and yet nothing happened.  There's a guy with lightning whips after Stark, who is dying of poison from his chest battery, and the Army wants to take Stark's technology away, and this nerd-rival of Stark's also trying to impress with technology, and he's connected to the lightning guy, and both of them are just way too interested in birds. But at the end of the show, Stark hasn't really matured or changed, the world hasn't improved, and Nick Fury is dropping hints about the upcoming Avengers movie.

It's fun, it's silly, it's a diverting show.  It's just not a movie with WOW factor...I'd probably rate it 3/5 stars or so.  Maybe 3.5 - it's better than average, but not good or great.
