Animal Crossing strikes again!

Man, I am so addicted to Animal Crossing: New Leaf!  I don't think Seanie knew the monster he would be unleashing when he brought that game home one day.  He let me play for a few minutes, showing me some of the new features that the game has over previous incarnations, like the first player's role as town mayor and perfect fruit and new clothing options.  A few days later, he realized that he wasn't getting to play his new game all that often because his wife had completely taken over the DS!
Poor Seanie.  He just wanted a cute little relaxing game.  But once I discovered there was a mermaid set of furniture available on the Island, and that you can expand your house to six rooms, and there are lots of fish and bugs to catch...well, I play the game way more than I should.  Each little task seems like it should only take a minute or two, but you blink and half an hour's gone by.  Man.

I wish we could get some cuter villagers though. All the animals living in my town are so ugly!  I mean, I want a cute little penguin or a frog, but instead I have a blue rooster and a pink tiger and an ugly clown-faced green dog.  Hopefully they'll move out soon...
