2013 New Year's Resolutions: September Update
(I feel like I just did one of these lists.)

Eliminate the backlog of “to be posted” blog entries.
Down from 175 to 156.
It's so slow here in Boulder that I've been able to make some progress on my backdated stuff.

Eliminate my backlog of books for review.
Down from 34 to 30.
Slow but managing to keep more or less on top of the reviews - even chipping away at the backlog.

Covert my old bedroom at my parents' into a studio.
Obviously, not a project I'm concerned with while I'm out in Utah.

Find a “for reals” job.
Internship.  I guess I should be looking for something when I get back to San Jose, though.

Draw or create something every day. Draw or create something at least weekly.
A month has gone by and I haven't touched my paintbrushes. How horrible.

Exercise 60 minutes a week; by the end of year expand this to 210 minutes a week.
I'm hiking 2-3 times a week, probably averaging between three and five miles each time.  That's good, right?

Cook at least three meals a week.
Well, I haven't been eating out so I guess this is definitely being done.  I'm not too creative in the kitchen, for the most part - I've been eating a lot of omelets and sandwiches.

Travel somewhere new – preferably overseas.
Chicago and Alaska and Utah.
Also, I will be accompanying Seanie to New York City in November.  I've been there before, back in eighth grade, but it'll be a completely different experience as an adult.

Do one thing completely new.
Oil painting.

Do something else completely new.

Do something else completely new.

Do something else completely new.
No ideas for this one...yet.
