Residents are trying to fatten me up!

I'm not sure whether it's a good thing or a bad thing to work in the office during the holidays.

My boss took part of this week and all of next week off, so I've been working a lot more, and during the holiday season some of our residents bring treats in for the office employees.  There has been a very steady stream of homemade cookies, chocolates, and gourmet popcorn coming in - and since neither my boss nor the CEO really eat sweets, most of it goes straight to me.

I'm of two minds, naturally.  On the one hand, one mustn't WASTE good food, right?  On the other, there is a finite amount of sugar one should eat in a day, let alone throughout the holiday season.

But English toffee!  Godiva chocolates!  Spice cake!  All of my favorite things to eat at this time of year.

I'm going to puff up like a balloon.
