IPSY: SEPTEMBER 2014
"STREET STYLE"
Based on the postcard, I'm thinking this is a bag for dramatic eyes, bronzed cheeks and carefully-curled hair. Oh, and surely some sort of mascara, since I've been getting one in every Ipsy bag lately.

I like the bag. It's a nice pewter vinyl that has a good faux-leather look to it, accented with little pyramid studs. It's unlined, but I guess that isn't necessary as vinyl is generally liquid-proof.
ALTERNA HAIRCARE Caviar CC Cream: This is a 10-in-1 leave-in hair pefector. I guess that's a step up from a leave-in conditioner! The ten benefits of the cream include moisture, shine, smoothness, softness, UV protection, manageability, strength, anti-breakage, heat protection and light hold. Sounds great, right? I'm very curious to see how it does, especially with my dried out split ends. $8.50
CAILYN Art Touch Tinted Lip Gloss in Love Affair: This lip gloss is a deep wine-red, very shiny and richly pigmented. It's pretty dark, though. I can't decide if that's a good thing or a bad thing - I've been wearing a lot more lip color in the last few months but this might be a bit bold, even for me. $19.00
CROWN BRUSH Shadow/Crease Duet Brush: Over the past few months, I've been slowly replacing my makeup brushes because many of them are starting to lose hairs. I hadn't yet gotten a good shadow brush so this is great. $17.50
NOURISH ORGANIC Moisturizing Cream Face Cleanser: Aloe vera, cucumber and watercress will clean the skin without drying out the face - sounds good! $2.33
PACIFICA 7 Free Nail Polish: A while back, nail polish companies started advertising their products as 3-free. No Dibutyl Phthalate, Toluene, or Formaldehyde. Then I started seeing 5-Free products. Now we're up to 7? Gee, what's left in the nail polish? I'm not complaining, mind you; I'm genuinely curious. 7-Free is formulated without parabens, phthalates (dibutyl phthalate), toluene, xylene, camphor, formaldehyde, or resin. $9.00
This was a good bag. I liked every single product and the bag that contained them - has that ever happened before? I can't remember!
