2014 New Year’s Resolutions: September Update
Or: Chronicling My Lack of Ambition and Achievement in 2014

Ride a bike.
No progress to report.  Seanie keeps insisting that something is broken with my bike, so he can't teach me how to ride it.

Put hair in a bun that stays all day.
No progress to report, and that's sad, because I'm pretty sure an afternoon with some Youtube videos is all I would need to knock this goal off my list.

Get published.
No progress to report.

Be able to hold a ten minute conversation in Spanish.
No progress to report.  I should really blow the dust off of my Spanish textbook and get cracking on this, but...so many other things to not do!

Complete 12 paintings.
No progress to report.

Travel somewhere new.
Crater Lake National Park in Oregon.
I'm marking this one done because I don't think I'll be heading anywhere else new this year, not when I've just renewed my Disneyland Annual Passport.

No progress to report.

Get a job!
Hired by the SFMOMA.
But that position was temporary.

Get a job!

Get a museum job!
So no progress to report on that front.

Take some f*cking Chemistry.
Registered for another chemistry class this fall.  It starts on the 22nd at friggin' 7:30 in the morning.

Sew a dress.
No progress to report.

Eliminate the backlog of “to be posted” blog entries.
Up from 183 to 192.
This is such a lost cause...

Eliminate my backlog of books for review.
Down from 32 to 29.
Progress continues, slowly but surely.

Do something new.
Ceramics.

Do something else new.
No progress to report.
