I feel so responsible.

My boss put me in charge of a Hobbit party we're having later this month, which is exciting.  Responsibility!  They must like me at the bookstore.

So I've been brainstorming cool ideas for what we can do.
- We could probably make some sort of game, a variation of "Pin the Tail on the Donkey" but with Smaug.  I'm thinking darts?  Assuming I can find something that won't damage the wall.
- Hobbit food.  I shall have to check what the boss thinks of food in the store - sticky fingers and books don't mix, after all.  But what do hobbits eat?  English food, I suppose.  Scones/baked goods, tea sandwiches, fruit?  Those seem like reasonable foods.
- It would really be cool if I could somehow get someone in costume to be a character.  I mean, I don't look like anyone from the movies but some LARPer has mastered a hobbit costume.  I shall have to see if I can find someone in one of the local costuming guilds - the SCA and those sorts of organizations.

I really want to make this event awesome so that it will hopefully draw a lot of people in.
