Hanging out with my little niece, or this is why I cannot cook

Oh, crummy camera phone.  You never fail to disappoint me.

Anyway, spent most of the evening hanging out with my niece Kairi.  (Not a blood niece, just an adopted one.)  Originally, I had gone to Kero's house to learn the mysteries of making chicken adobo, but someone had to keep Kairi amused so she wouldn't do dangerous things like stick her hand on a kitchen burner.  So instead of learning which spices went into the kitchen dish, I swung Kairi around in the air like a little monkey and kept her from poking out the eyes of Kero's dog.

Oh, what a life.
