Gift reciepts: not a big f*cking deal.
I get a lot of people asking for gift reciepts who are really, really put out when I tell them that I can print duplicate reciepts that still have the price listed on them.  They rage about how people will know how much the book costs if they give them a reciept.

Uh...it's a book. The price is printed on the back or on the dustjacket.  Unless you're planning to damage the book by marking that out, making it unreturnable due to damage, the recipient is going to see that anyway.

Besides, in this day and age where Amazon is only a click away, the amount you spend on a present is a secret to absolutely no one.

So seriously, get over it.

In this country most shops put a little sticker over the price with the sell date on it. As long as the sticker is intact you generally don't need to show the receipt if you wish to exchange the item. :)
