So hot.

I haven't actually confirmed this anywhere, but I think we're having a record-setting heat spell here in the Bay Area.  It is so hot and uncomfortable right now.  Seanie and I can leave the air conditioner running all day and the best we can get is very warm.  See, our little window AC unit isn't strong enough to reduce the temperature in the house - all it can do is slow the rate at which the house warms up.  The front room, where the unit is located, is bearable most of the day, but the office and the bedroom are more or less unusable by lunchtime.  It then takes forever to cool the house down.  

But, nothing to be done about it.  Just suck it up and do our best to stay hydrated.
