-- Horace Mann
I have fallen out of the habit of blogging daily, and the result has been that my backlog of to-be-written entries has steadily increased this year instead of shrinking. My husband would point to my new habit of coming home from work and wasting a good chunk of the evening on Facebook and watching videos on Youtube - and he would absolutely be right. Those two bad habits of passively observing the Internet have replaced the good habit of daily writing.
is it such a thick, sturdy cable that it cannot be broken? I'm not sure. I really hope not. But next year I will have to conscientiously work to dial back on Internet time-wasting so that I finally eliminate that backlog once and for all.
Final stats for 2015:
In my defense (weak as it is), the busyness of working a forty-hour work week while working part-time at RHA really knocked me for a loop, and I am still struggling to find time to balance work and other projects. I can only hope that this will be improved in 2016 when I finally cut back to just one job.
