And I feel I can fly when I'm standing next to you
Well, expect me to be calling you to see if you're okay when I'm not around, asking if you love me – I love the way you make it sound. Calling you to see do I try to hard to make you smile? To make us smile? I will keep calling you to see if you're sleeping or you're dreaming. If you're dreaming, are you dreaming of me? I can't believe you actually picked me.

I love Blue October. I want their CDs. ;_; I hate that I have no money...I need Blue October and Audioslave baaaaaaaaaaaad.

I spent most of this afternoon drawing outfits I saw in fashion history books. Sometimes I tried to capture the exact clothing that was originally made; other times I just borrowed ideas and worked them into my own designs. I'm also a mad photocopying machine. ^_^; The books are due back at the library next week, so I want to get the images out of them as best I can. Hey, it's cheaper than buying these things...they're 'spensive. ;_;

Mmmm...today I have officially been Sailor's girlfriend for six months. It is a bit scary, really. That's half a year. It's a very long time. But shhhhh! It's a secret. He doesn't remember that it's our anniversary! It's kinda sad, actually. We don't ever celebrate our anniversary – now that I think about it, I don't think we've ever actually seen each other on one of them. o_O Gee, that's kind of depressing, isn't it?
Bandaid, Kitty and I all have our anniversaries bam! bam! bam! one right after another. First is Bandaid & Cee on the 14th, then Sailor and I on the 17th, and finally Kitty and Taitai on the 19th. Bandaid and Cee just did two years and a month, I think...Kitty and Taitai will be thirteen months. Eek. Now those be REALLY long times... Anyway, so every month they talk about all the fun stuff they're doing to celebrate and it's like "So, Sam, what're you 'n' Sailor doin'?" "Uh...nothing." "Oh." And it's not the normal "Oh, I understand," but the "Oh" with the raised eyebrow and you're a weirdo tone of voice. o_O <- like that, except with eyebrows. (That makes no sense.)

Shyeah. I've only gotten through to the thirties, so I'm going back to drawing now. Jaa.

I'm really sorry for not being there enough. :(

Sam-Chan? Remember that obsession you had with X-Japan? Can you point me to the best album/songs to start with?

Also, do you have any information on Malice Mizer or the Pillows?

Also, you MUST listen to Chibo Matto. The bassist is John Lennon's son.

I am slowly descending again into Jrock. The horror. the horror.

Aaaaa! My tail's wagging! Must-control-tail! ^^;

Anywho, X-Japan. Raaaaar. It's still an obsession. The best songs to start with...hmmm..."Forever Love" for the best love song ever, "Crucify My Love" for coherent English, "Drain" for incoherent Engrish, "Week End" because it's nifty, and "Standing Sex" just 'cuz. Mmmm...throw "Rose of Pain" in there for a taste of how their looooooong songs sound. If you get brave and like their style, try "Art of Life" which is nearly a half-hour long. ^_^ Yeah...still an obsession, just a bit.

Malice Mizer! ^_^ You don't know; I am freaking in mad-love with Mana, the prettiest boi in the world! ^_^ Anyway, I like the album Voyage, which has 'N.p.s N.g.s' and that's the randomest song in the world. ^_^ It also has 'Yami no kanata' and 'madrigal'..."Beast of Blood" gets mentioned a lot amongst Malice Mizer fans, but for the life of me I can't remember if that's an album, a single, or just the name of one of their styles. ^^; Mwrrrrr...unfortunately, I don't know half as much about MM as I'd like.

The Pillows...actually, all I know about them is the song "Ride on Shooting Star" which still rocks my boots whenever I hear it. In fact, I think I need to hear it right now. Aaaaaaah...anyway, my friend Seanie has one of their CDs, so I could ask him to recommend a few songs. Did you ever meet him? Sean Buckley, guy with long reddish-blonde hair...he was a friend of Christy's. Kristy's? I don't remember how she spelled her name...:-p

Jrock! Woohoo! Horror horror the giddiness of the horror! ^_^

Chibo Matto?? Oooooo...which son is it, Sean or Julian?
egovamp on July 18th, 2003 10:54 am (UTC)
Chibo Matto consists of Sean Lennon on bass, his girlfriend on guitar/vocal , and other people I don't remember on everything else ^_^.

Type A is the album that I've heard, and it's definitely worth a listen.

You have NO IDEA how much I worship the style of Malice Mizer. Then again. Maybe it makes sense considering how I go around wearing eyeliner and red and black striped shirts.

30 mins? This is either genius. or.

Control thyself, child. Control thyself.

How 'bout both? It's Yoshiki's couch session, as far as I'm concerned. But he's Yoshiki, so he can do pretty much whatever he damn pleases.

Malice Mizer's style is beyond awesome. Who could not love Le Ciel? Or lovely gothic Beast of Blood? (Which was a single and a style. Woohoo!) Bright colors are best, tho'. ^_^
The Pope thing's a bit strange for even my tastes, tho'...
This was tasty...
I'm going to shut up now. ^^;
